ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO
Jenkins Elite four-year athlete, Alex Padilla, was visited by Oregon State’s offensive coordinator/quarterback coach, Brian Lindgren. Oregon State has been busy the past month visiting possible recruits and stopped in Englewood, Colorado to meet with Padilla. The rising Cherry Creek senior quarterback was featured in 247Sports.
Padilla already has 10 offers from Mountain West and Ivy League Schools including: Central Michigan, Colorado State, and Nevada. With an impressive list of schools already, he should be getting more offers in the next few months. The recruiting pool will be tough for Oregon State if they decide to offer, but the Beavers Coach Lindgren may give Oregon a special niche in the process. Padilla knew Coach Lindgren when he was coaching at CU, and the two have kept a good relationship since Padilla’s freshman year of high school. Alex has not said if he will be visiting Oregon this summer, since he has already had a work out for Coach Lindgren, which substituted for a traditional campus visit.
Tim Jenkins said of Padilla: “Alex is starting to heat up with his recruiting. I am so proud of all the work he has put in and he deserves every look and offer he is getting. I think when it is all said and done Alex will be sitting around with multiple power 5 school offers.”
As Padilla’s recruiting process continues to gain momentum, he will continue to enhance his skills at Jenkins Elite and prepare for his senior season at Cherry Creek High School.
