We are back for Football Talk Friday #29! Today we are breaking down Z Ship F Flat Beretta, which is a great pure progression completion play for tight in the money zone.
With Zoy Split Right Close Gun Gone Right Z Ship F Flat Beretta we are stressing the defense horizontally. The Quarterbacks will start with a 1 skip drop from the gun, checking the ship route or short post right away. From there, they will work to the collect shallow, and then to the skippy swing. The addendum on this play is as follows: if they get off or sink coverage, then go to the flat route right away.
We are going to watch Andrew Luck deliver a dime between two Texan defenders to Zach Pascal for a 4 yard touchdown!
