KINGSVILLE, TEXAS
This past Saturday Jenkins Elite College QB Luis Perez had a big night for Texas A&M Commerce in their annual rivalry game against Texas A&M Kingsville. Luis finished the night completing 24 of 32 passes for 319 yards and four touchdowns. No. 3 Texas A&M Commerce moved to 4-0 on the season as they go into a bye week next week.
Coach Jenkins said of Luis and his performance, “We had a chance to work with Luis this past summer and I have to say you won’t find a better man who is playing College QB right now. He is off to an incredible start this year but that is no surprise to anyone who has been around him for any amount of time. Not only do I believe his team has a chance at a National Title but I also believe Luis will be a draftable QB by the time the NFL Draft rolls around next year.”

“The No. 3 Texas A&M University-Commerce football team scored the first three touchdowns of the game and held Texas A&M University-Kingsville to 216 yards of offense on the way to a 38-7 victory, winning the Chennault Cup for the sixth consecutive year.”
