We are back for Football Talk Friday #27! Today we are breaking down Z Dig X Blaze, it is a tremendous pure progression shot play.
With Deuce Right Back Classy Roll Right Z Dig X Blaze, Quarterbacks must use the proper Roll Footwork. What that means is that they will sell inside zone action and then slightly move the pocket setting up over the guard instead of the center. The Quarterbacks will start by evaluating the Blaze 8, if they like it take it, if not they will reset their feet to the Seam 6 and then down to the Read Flat check down.
We are going to watch Eli Manning deliver a dime to the Blaze 8 Route and hit Odell Beckham Jr. for an 18 yard gain!
