Jenkins Elite, the countries premier authority on football training and development has announced a new training program for Offensive and Defensive Lineman. Beginning in January of 2020 the Jenkins Elite Line Academy will begin developing athletes in the same consistent year-round training model that has produced College and NFL athletes from the Jenkins Elite program.

“I am so excited that we have put the finishing touches on our Line Academy. This is something that we have been driven to accomplish since we began training athletes in 2013. Alex Keys vision and training philosophy when it comes to offensive and defensive lineman is truly special. I can’t wait to see Colorado Lineman get the same great training and programming that our Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers have gotten for the last seven years.”

Jenkins Elite CEO Tim Jenkins

Coach Alex Keys will be leading the Jenkins Elite Line Academy. Alex comes to Jenkins Elite after just finishing his playing career at Western Michigan. As the starting Center for the Division 1 Western Michigan Broncos, Coach Keys has made multiple bowl game appearances, including the 2017 Cotton Bowl against #8 Wisconsin. At Western Michigan coach Keys played for PJ Fleck now Minnesota’s head coach and Tim Lester.

Coach Keys is a Colorado Native, he attended Highlands Ranch High School where he helped lead the team to multiple playoff appearances while starting all 4 years at Center and Defensive Tackle.

“Coming back to the state I grew up in is an awesome feeling. Growing up I didn’t have the tools at my disposal to truly be a great Lineman but after playing for one of the best programs in D1 football I was able to mold myself and learn how to play the position correctly. Our lineman program is going to be a big shift in the landscape of line training, we are going to focus on cutting edge teachings that will really give athletes an edge on the field!”

Parker Line Director Alex Keys

Coaching alongside coach Keys will be Offensive and Defensive Line Specialist coach Brandon Alconcel. Coach Alconcel played at Colorado State University and was a three year starter for the Rams during his 2001 – 2005 collegiate career. He helped the Rams advance to four bowl games while winning the 2002 Mountain West Conference Title.

After his playing career he coached for Northern Colorado a division 1-AA football program and at Adams State University. Amassing over 5 years of College coaching experience, and 5 more years of coaching experience at the high school level, coach Alconcel comes to Jenkins Elite having played and coached at an extremely high level.
