Jake Schaefer serves as the Quarterback Director for Jenkins Elite in Columbus, Ohio, joining the team in 2025 with a wealth of experience as both a coach and former collegiate and professional quarterback. Before joining Jenkins Elite, Schaefer spent three seasons at Division I Akron, working closely with the quarterback position and helping develop top-tier talent. Most recently, he served as the head coach at Otterbein University, where he led the program and played a key role in building one of the most productive offenses in school history.

As a player, Schaefer was a standout quarterback at John Carroll University, where he showcased his leadership and playmaking ability. Over his career, he threw for 2,513 yards and 27 touchdowns, proving his command of the game and ability to execute at a high level. Following his collegiate career, Schaefer went on to play professionally, further refining his expertise and gaining valuable experience competing at the next level.

Schaefer’s coaching journey has taken him through both the collegiate and professional ranks, sharpening his knowledge of offensive schemes and quarterback development. Now, as the Columbus Quarterback Director for Jenkins Elite, he is committed to helping young quarterbacks master their mechanics, enhance their football IQ, and maximize their potential.
