Since 2016 Coach Jon Ackerman has worked with over 200 athletes across the country and counting. He coordinates and is responsible for all things Sports Performance related to the Jenkins Elite program. He guided and worked with 2 NFL Quarterbacks and 1 CFL Quarterback in his first year with Jenkins Elite.

Coach Jon Ackerman was part of 20 State Championship Teams, coached 3 State Championship Football teams, made 19 Football Post Season Appearances, and coached 1 State Championship Baseball team. He worked with hundreds of athletes that went on to excel at the college level and many went on to the professional level as well.

Coach Ackerman had the opportunity to work on one of the best staffs in the state in his first coaching experience in Colorado. Had multiple players go on the play at the collegiate level. During his time as an assistant hockey coach, he helped develop talent and helped Liberty to a State Championship in 2001.

Coach Ackerman was a Two Year letter winner played, played sparingly in a running system. In his last College Game, he ran for a touchdown and threw for another touchdown at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.

Coach Ackerman was a One Year letter winner as the kick-off specialist recording 25 of 32 touchbacks. He also held for extra points and field goals during the 1980 season, throwing for a touchdown. His 1982 season ended before it started with a torn hip-flexor. He also played Baseball his freshman year, working in as a Pitcher.

LAKEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

Coach Ackerman was a Three Year letter winner as the starting Quarterback, Kicker, and Punter. Was the 1st Quarterback in school history to throw for more than 2,500 career yards. Ackerman finished his career with over 2,600 rushing yards and had a 39.5-yard Punting Average. In his first game his senior season he kicked a 49-yard field goal, threw 2 touchdown passes and ran for another. Ackerman led his team in scoring. He was named Team MVP, All Missota Conference and was named to the WCCO All-State Team. In baseball, he was a Three Year letter winner and hit 14 home runs his senior season and was named MVP. He was also a Four Year letter winner in Hockey.
