SPEARFISH, SOUTH DAKOTA
Jenkins Elite College Quarterback Ryan Hommel led Black Hills State to a comeback win against their rival South Dakota Mines yesterday. Hommel who was back from a previous injury ended the day with 320 Yards and 2 Touchdowns.
Coach Jenkins Said of the performance, “Ryan is a tough gritty kid and his team means everything to him. We had a good talk over the phone this week about how important he felt it was to help his team in any way he could this week. He is an outstanding leader and one of the best competitors I have ever worked with.”

“The Black Hills State University football team won the 132nd playing of the Black Hills Brawl against rival South Dakota Mines, 25-24, on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets take back the Homestake Trophy, after the Hardrockers had control of it for the past two years.”
